That might be the real emissions problem!

Also might just need a new air filter, seeing as throttle input causes it to flood once warm.
I suppose the seller has spent something approaching a grand on the VWW over the past couple of years, had a go at 2 MoT tests and just wants to get his money back. It is a pity he/she has given up at the final hurdle, but I'm wondering what sort of buyer might want to spend £1,250 on a non-historic (and won't qualify until April 2030) MoT failure? I'd be uncomfortable paying over a grand for a MoT failure like this because the cost is so marginal: even after collecting, fixing and getting through the MoT it might only be worth 2 grand - so why not just buy a running and riding one for that price?

Just the thoughts of a grumpy man with a beard and a dog called Bob.

Really Luke?

Perhaps I was a bit uncharitable in my last piece above - I can't help thinking the only folk interested in buying an unfinished project like that would be reading these pages - so why not just advertise it (free) here?
