Well, I said I wasn't an expert!
Thanks. I did some googling, I think I have it correct and will try and get a bit more clearance from the floor.

I haven't painted them, that's just a old one that I left on to paint the engine.

The photos above from post 141 are from the internet, not my photos.

The metallic silver I use is Jotun Hardtop XP AL but doesn't come in small tins. https://www.smlmarinepaints.co.uk/to...tunHardtopXPAL

That's the car on wheels and dollies. Big clean next and making room so I have a prep and paint room for the panels. The challenge is to fit three cars in this space, going to be a challenge.

Well that wasn't 5minutes work to get that all sorted. Lots of moving stuff about. More sorting inside during the week and maybe paint the floor in the cleared section before I start on the panels.

Took out this dent this afternoon, came out well and won't need any filler. The goal is to use next to no filler on the car and metal finish any areas that need addressing rather than fill them. Good practice for me. Pic of the tools I used too.

Haven't done any tig for over a year so a wee bit rusty. Welded up a hole and metal finished. Not perfect so will give it a sand when back in and see if the primer will take it up. I should have straightened things out around the hole before I welded it up, was a bit of a hollow.

As always, your work makes one feel rather deficient....😀

Not only do we admire your work, but the tools and equipment are enough to make me envious.

Do i spy a 140 series lurking in the background??

Cheers
Steve
