Hi, Can't find an answer

Have just got a 10month old V40 D3. Nice car ! 8200 miles 150 bhp

Problem re my dog

Put her in the back seat, clip safety thing into seat belt red thing and onto dog.

Dog ok but when i park up I need to leave the rear windows open a bit.

Now how to set alarm??? I want to disable interior sensers. BUT when I close door windows close too ! No good for the dog !

Please how do I disable and leave windows open and set alarm ??????

Hello,
I have a 15 plate V40 and occasionally leave the dog in the car for a few minutes whilst refuelling etc.
I set the alarm to the reduced guard setting. Press the My Car button on the centre console then on the display screen go to car settings then locks and alarm and you will see the reduced guard setting which you press OK to activate once.
I am not sure why the window will not stay open though, maybe you press the lock button on the keyfob for too long which would then close the windows?
Hope this helps.
Steve
