Baffled by symbols

Only had my V40 D2 for a couple of days and there are many thing I need to get used to but the 2 pics below are irritating the most, but I can`t find reference on Volvo support or internet.
I would like to know how to activate the passenger airbag and remove whatever the "car" symbol is saying in the round central dash.

The air bag is switched on, the symbol shows a warning not to put a rear facing child seat in place with the air bag switched on.

I read it that the passenger airbag makes a good contraceptive providing it is on.

Surprised your dealer didn't tell you that.
Anyway after very quick google search - symbol 2nd from last at bottom of page.

I think the car symbol in the speedometer may mean the tailgate is not properly closed.
