Install an used ICM

Hi, Im thinking about buying an used 7" ICM screen for my V40, i have the 5" ICM Screen with High Performance sound.

I heard that an used ICM screen from another car will not work. Do you know if the dealer can make it work? Like recoding it to my car, or Im obligated to buy a new one from volvo parts? Thanks.

hi you can swap parts from vehicle to vehicle but you need to get dealler to switch security most off 1st ,,IPS cant remember part number
