Default Light issue

Hi, has anyone come across this issue I have on my 2015 V40. It has std lights fitted but upgraded to led side warning lights. Today I've noticed that the nsf (RHD) stays one but at a reduced brightness. No matter what I do the light stays on, press the lights button and all the correct lights come on (correct brightness), turn on the side lights the same. Turn everything off, it reduces in brightness and the remaining lights turn off.
Thanks in advance.

First thing would be to check all the pins in the connector are clean and straight, a bad ground can cause this type of effect.

Then try the normal bulb again, LED doesn't need much residual current to light unless it has a resistor built in, might just be a poor power output leaking some current enough to light the LED.
