Default Where to Mount Satnav

Hi Guys,

New to the forum. I did search but couldn't find anything that answered my question

I have a 2014 V4 D2 that I have had for just over a year from new.

I have recently started a new job and need to mount a satnav for allot of journeys. I am getting a bit peed off with the tell tale rings in my windscreen as I am not parking in secure areas I am concerned about a break in if I forget to remove the rings.

I have a TomTom 6100 with the quick click mount at the moment but I want to mount it somewhere on the dashboard.

The car is company so I cant make any permanent changes so no screws etc but sticky as long as its removable would be acceptable.

Have you got any suggestions on where I could mount the satnav and how to mount it?

TLDR: SatNav TomTom Mounting methods and locations 2014 V40

Kind Regards

Poc

I use one of these, mounted centrally, and have found it to work well:

http://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/drive/ac...beanbag-mount/

It comes with an adhesive hook for the dash. When not in use, it fits in the space under the central armrest.

TomTom has various adhesive mounting plates for the dash, for example:

http://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/drive/ac...d-mount-disks/

which would also do the job, but I was happy with the small hook on the dash.

Brodit all the way - best mounts by far and a selection so you have a choice of where to mount.

Top recommendation, ol' hoss. I'd never heard of them, but found the Swiss distributor and got one. Excellent, so many thanks!
