XC60 2018 Front Camera Aftermarket

Been looking for a retrofit front sensor kit for my XC60 and apparently volvo no longer do one.

Wasnt really wanting to drill the bumper for a new kit, so have spoken to Empircal and they are about to launch (next 10 days) a front and rear camera kit integrated into the sensus system.

Initial indication is £360 for front and rear + fitting - seems like a decent option for those of us with lower spec cars!

(No affinity to them btw!)

I can't find it as Auntie G keeps telling me I mean empirical 😁😁

They are reasonably close to me, might be a future upgrade.

For clarity I’ve just asked Empirical about a 360 camera upgrade (front, rear and sides).
The response is front and rear only and I received the following message:
“Hi. Thanks for the call, I’m not on any of the forums so if you are adding anything about us please let everyone know that in order to fit any aftermarket kit then cables must be ran to each camera so for front and rear that’s quite easy. Unfortunately for side cameras then cables would need to be run into the doors so through the factory multi plugs at the door wiring, door panels removed, door mirrors removed, door mirrors disassembled to add the camera.”

To summarise, whilst they don’t do a 360 they can provide a front and rear camera kit.
