The Kwik Fit chap fitting noticed on mine the lower speed rating than the OEM he was taking off - but I said it was limited to 112mph so isn't a big issue!
MY21 onwards T8 XC90 is ‘h’ rated now, I assume as they have all got the speed limiter on. I don’t think our last one MY18.5 was ‘h’…

I’ve just had a set of these fitted on Thursday, I’ll do an update once I’ve used them for a while but initially, quiet and confidence inspiring on a run to the office yesterday.

I initially purchased 4 of the the 96H Volvo spec CC2’s on my V60 until I read the owners manual which says that the D4 should be 96V. D3 V60 was ok for the 96H. I re-ordered the CC2 in the 96Y version to avoid any insurance issues.

The owners manual states that faster speed tyres can be fitted. Cost £40 more. Probably never notice the difference but worth it for the peace of mind.

Is the 96V spec for a winter tyre explicitly - they are often (normally?) specced with a lower speed rating.

It doesn’t mention winter tyres in the manual just the minimum speed rating per engine.
