Sadly there are no petrol options on the S & V90, only the XC90, though the T8 twin engine is rumoured to be coming soon. For now it's diesel power only with the D4 190 and D5 PowerPulse 235.

Default V70 3.2 of the latest specs

Hi, missing 6cyl (petrol) options in current Volvo portfolio.
So I'd go with V70 3.2 FWD of the end of the production.

I've not owned or driven any of the new models but I'd like to get my hands on a 2017 S60 Polestar, 0 - 60 in 4.5 seconds, 362 horsepower, and 347 pound-feet of torque going to all four wheels

One can but dream!

Nice car, but shame it's a four cylinder. My (extremely lucky) mate has the older 3.0 version in the V60 Polestar (the genuine all singing all dancing polestar) and it is an absolute beast of a car. It sounds like a Ferrari 355 on start up and hard acceleration.
