Most Yuasa batteries now are calcium - the older ones were good batteries and went on for ever, it's not unknown for many 1999 Hondas to be on their original Yuasa batteries.

I hope they had the HB096 in stock? The HB013 is a bit too small for the 7/9xx cars, more suited to a 1.6 whatever or smaller.

While not yet fully conclusive, I’ll take the cost of a new battery over the four hundred and (mnurgh) for a set of injectors that I was about to buy.

I’ll get my spare set flowed and rebuilt anyway… just in case 🫣

The one you listed wouldn’t fit in my battery tray. It’s listed as 278 wide and my tray is 226. The 013 fits bang on.

£400+ for injectors?! Are they made of gold or even more expensive are they made of petrol? 🤣

You can buy a set of refurbished V70R injectors from America for less than £100 posted!

I was quoted £55 for a refurbishment of my 940 injectors, I know what I'd rather do.

Considering I still have a crappy idle, new injectors are still on the to do list. Where did you get the quote from?

I had a different experience with them in my Insignia, 3 in total in 4 years final one was ok when I sold the car, ECP stood by the warranty each time so maybe the quality isn't as good as it was back in the day, I believe ECP have stopped stocking them now as the desk jockey seemed unsurprised mine failed each time.
