Thanks mate. i love them! i wanted 17's that looked factory but would fit over the brakes i now have fitted....
They were diamond cut and black but i had them powdered silver and fitted Volvo centre caps. when they were first advertised they were doing 8 and 8 inch staggered fitment with the correct ET25 offset but they only ended up making them in 8 x 17 with a 35 offset so i had to use 20mm spacers....
Yup. the metallic blackberry is definitely the best colour imo! your wheels are called Aurega's by the way . same as was on my car....can't help with the paint code though. they have a slightly 'champagney' colour as opposed to normal silver
here is a link for similar wheels....

Regards, John.
A competent machine shop could indeed do it John, however as the axle is already wider on the 7/9xx models it would be easier to just not fit them in the first place. The wheels do disappear quite a way into the arches for example when jacking the front of the car on one side but could also do similar while driving over uneven ground.

2, buy any of the FWD Volvo alloys in a 15 or 16 inch and use 20mm hubcentric spacers to reach correct fitment
3. do what i did and buy an aftermarket set of 17 inch alloys, The ones in the pic are Lenso Eagle 2 ET35 with a 20mm spacer
I've never particularly liked them, but PCD adapters may open up some new possibilities as well. Bearing in mind they require shorter wheel studs and will space by at least 15-20mm.

That's a seriously wallet-endangering link! Great to see such a comprehensive range of OEM accessories. Draco, Hydra, and Auriga on the shortlist I think.

Considering where your car is at the moment, it may be worth having a word in that direction to see if there are any available and if there's a deal to be done!

Long term plan, too much expenditure on her at the moment! A spring project I think, will let the steelies handle the winter

I think the steelies suit your car. I'm thinking of going silver steelies on my grey 740. Look better than the plastic trims as well
