Default Radio Bracket

Hi, Looking for the bracket for mounting a stereo in the lower dash position. I could take the one out my other 240 but don't really want to start taking parts of it.

Most suppliers seem to have discontinued them.

Cheers

Scott

Hi Scott,
Will check the Parts Store, (shed), think I might have one for you, if I have I will let you know. Hope my old GLT is doing well.
Cheers,
Kevin.

For what it's worth, I made my own mounting plate by removing the storage compartment from the lower position, and using the face of it as a template to make my own bracket out of, of all things, an old melamine placemat, which I covered with matching coloured vinyl to match the car's interior.

It sounds daft, but it was the perfect material - strong, easily workable, and came in a handy 3mm thick sheet which has done an admirable job of holding up my radio and looks completely stock covered in matching vinyl.
