Radio Bracket
Hi, Looking for the bracket for mounting a stereo in the lower dash position. I could take the one out my other 240 but don't really want to start taking parts of it.
Most suppliers seem to have discontinued them. Cheers Scott |

Hi Scott,
Will check the Parts Store, (shed), think I might have one for you, if I have I will let you know. Hope my old GLT is doing well. Cheers, Kevin. |

For what it's worth, I made my own mounting plate by removing the storage compartment from the lower position, and using the face of it as a template to make my own bracket out of, of all things, an old melamine placemat, which I covered with matching coloured vinyl to match the car's interior.
It sounds daft, but it was the perfect material - strong, easily workable, and came in a handy 3mm thick sheet which has done an admirable job of holding up my radio and looks completely stock covered in matching vinyl. |
