Question D5 Missfire and Black Smoke when warmed up

Help needed please. 2002 D5 V70 .
Starts fine cold or hot. When cold starts and runs well until car warms up (5 to 10 miles or so, or if left for a few minutes when in between cold and warm like heatsoak) then developes a missfire and consequent lots of black smoke when running on an even/light load. If car accelerated hard it clears and runs fine. Seem like it may be overfuelling or is it injector problem?
Any advice VERY welcome

Blocked or Faulty EGR valve can give you those symptoms so do a search on that.

Cheers Darryl

Thanks for response. Had recently fitted genuine exchange EGR valve and also the operating solenoid. Also a new Bosch MAF. (all done to cure permanent limp home mode. MAF eventually cured that problem. Was all OK after that for a month or so.
