Default Anyone want to save a 340?

As many of you from 300mania know I have spent a long time working on my 340, took it for its MOT last thursday and it failed on "excessive corrosion to front offside subframe" and "excessive corrosion to front crossmember" which i've been told is an engine out/engine jacked up job and as I need the car to get to uni i've bought a new one as time doesn't permit to get this one fixed. Its a 340DL in tidy condition with 96k on the clock only rust bodywise is on the front valance and its had no running problems in the time our family have owned it (12 years). If I could have pursuaded my parents I would have kept it and done the repairs myself but we havent got the space. I just feel its too good to scrap but thats where its heading if i can't shift it.
I've taken a fair few things off it to swap onto my new one such as the door rubbers and front grill. When the backbox started blowing a while back I fitted a performance exhaust which I want to keep so no backbox i'm afraid, its got four nearly new tyres on it and MOT runs out 6th November so can drive away till then.

Just trying to guage interest really

cheers

Ali (ps, the new one is a black 3door 360glt :D)

Apologies for the slow reply, I haven't been on this forum for months. The car is still available but I started to make a project out of it and have removed all the interior panels, soundproofing, etc so it's probably no use to anybody now. The shell is still good with no rust but i've had the engine started in the last month and I believe the idle jet it blocked again so needs pulling off and cleaning (it'll keep running if you stay on the accelerator a bit or pull out the choke so i'm pretty certain its that). I'll probably just scrap it soon so if anyone wants it or any bits off it then let me know,
Regards
Ali
Sorry forgot to mention i'm based just South of Birmingham near Stratford-Upon-Avon
