No reverse lights!!

Hi all can anyone help,I have no reverse lights on my s40 2.0d 54 reg 2nd gen, I have checked bulb and all ok as I bought new thinking this was the problem.

If you have no problem with fuses or bulbs then it will be the gearbox switch. I'm assuming it is a manual?

sorry yes its manual.

Would check fuses first but after that it will be reverse switch.

Sorry no not off the top of my head but your handbook should tell you which one is for your reverse lights. Have you got handbook?

This should help if it is the reverse switch, you need to take the air filter housing out the way according to VIDA - see pics:
