You will use park assist once to try it then never ever use it again, its the biggest waste of time ever, you still have to use the throttle and brakes and gear change, the only thing it does is apply the steering and what a faff about it is, you can park it 10 times quicker and easier yourself even without cameras and parking sensors but I do recommend the 360 camera, it is one of the best features on the car.
By the way, I was put off the R-design by the dark head-lining, I wanted a nice light interior. It only comes in the dark head-lining, in my opinion you would need the pano roof to lighten it up if you go for the R-design.

I also tried the R-Design V90 first as I really liked the look of it. The demonstrator I had was equipped with just about every conceivable extra. I had it for three days and to be honest I found the seats quite uncomfortable and the ride a bit harsh. In the end I bought an ex-demonstrator V90 Momentum (from Volvo Poole) which had been ordered with a few extras that made the £24K I paid for it (7 months old/9,500 miles) a really good price.

And park assist never parks the car as you wish. To be honest park assist is an option for people who really suck at parking a car. A person that is really bad at parking the car. A park retard person. I left it out also of my car. Useless and in my opinion a waste of money and time also.

p.s.: I also recommend the 360 camera. Good extra and helpful.
