V70: - v70r transfer box

hi guys my transfer box has gone west lol, does anyone no where i can get another one from or someone who does recon ones. i live in west yorkshire many thanks

What age of V70R is it? And is it definitely in the 'box, not the angle drive, splined sleeve, propshaft etc.? Depending on what age the car is they seem to come up much more often as AWD issues.

hi sorry for the late reply been away and forgot my password lol. its a v70r 2003, the gearbox works fine the abs light is on and the anti skid message comes up, the engine is fine but when you try and drive it the car doesnt let it drive as if its struggling for fuel or its in limp mode.....

When the transfer box went on our 03 v70r, we bit the bullet and got new which was around £1100 from frf, trying to find a second hand one was hard, found a couple on ebay but where over the pond,,, When the transfer box went on ours we where still able to drive the car with no warning lights or messages, Normally when these things go it is just the splined shaft that goes at around £120 but ours chewed the teeth inside the box aswell.
