Factory Fitted Blue Tooth

Due to a mix up with the order, my D3 Drive, R-Design with premium pack did not have its blue tooth fitted at the factory. The dealer has agreed to fit a Volvo blue tooth hands free, but I fear I am not getting full integration and functionality. (Dealer is retro-fitting free because of mix up).
They said it was not possible to retro fit the factory version and will lose some functionality. ie caller ID will not come up.

What else am I losing out on ? and could they really fit the factory version ?

D3 - Drive, R-design in Red with Premium Pack. Arrived at dealer Saturday 17th July. Will pick up Sat 24th when Blue tooth sorted.

Not sure if they can retro fit the factory version as this comes with the microphone built into the roof lining. If you look at the installation guide for the accessory version, you will see this is fitted by the courtesy light.

I doubt there is much between the two versions.

What funtionality? I smell BS, more likely it's too expensive to retrofit the factory fitted Bluetooth system.

The biggest difference is the factory fitted Bluetooth system is controlled from additional keys on the steering wheel, the aftermarket kit has a control pad attached to the dashboard.

I smell BS too.

However I think the R-Design Premium doesnt come with Bluetooth as standard but it is included with the R-Design convenience pack or as an optional extra. Either way if the dealer has made a mistake they should install the factory version or at least the retro fit version and give you cost of the bluetooth back in cash.
