V40 brake servo sensor
Phase II V40 with a GDi engine. Recently found that the brake becomes a bit stiff at 50-60mph. Brake servo, pads and discs all look okay.
There is a sensor at the joint between the vaccum hose to the engine and the servo. Dont know what is for. Anyone has an idea? cheers qipan |

Apparantly the sensor is made by Mitsubishi and called brake booster vacuum sensor. No clue about its function.
Unlike some other models, my GDi V40 has another pipe/hose linked to the brake servo, in addition to the vacuum hose. Do not have VADIS, otherwise I maybe able to tell. Any expert out there not on holiday? |
