940 T.D. Intercooler Estate, 1992, (J Reg')
After a lot of "Early Hours" landing pacing ... Too many Cars too much enthusiasm to buy and never enough time / money etc etc ... I now offer my 1992 (January) 940 T.D.I Estate on this site .... Its details are ....
Silver (with "Coded" Bumpers and Mirrors, remember that enthusiasm ?) Grey fabric interior, no wear / rips or tears (that I can see and I look !) Floor trays (recent ... to be honest, they are for, I believe, the "Petrol" version and as a result the Drivers' tray swivels due to the fact that there is no "E.C.U" bulge on the "Kick" panel ...) It even has the "Accessory mat" on the tunnel between the Rear Seats to "Save" the Carpet ... Sometimes the smaller passengers have mucky feet ! Wood effect facia panels ... Celebration style ?? Electric socket in the rear, 12v outlet (Cooler Box ?, not included !). Twin Electrics and the almost obligatory Tow Bar (Volvo Dealer fit, from New). "Spax" I think, if my memory serves, adjustable rear shock's ... Fitted about Three Years and Fiveteen thousand Miles ago ... Recent Tyres on the Rear and New Spare ... together with the correct "Wheel trim" fitted, on the spare Wheel (!) "Egg box" style grille ... Wind deflectors to all Windows and ... Sunroof ... which has also a recently replaced rubber (edge) seal ... This Car has been "Pampered" and virtually no expense (within reason) being spared ...... Power steering fluid and Gear Box oil changed .... Coolant too. Repairs have also included brand new Cylinder Head and Re-Conditioned Turbo in my ownership front flexies (Brake pipes ... ) Genuine as they come with the Mileage at 118k. Three Owners, One the Dealer for the first Six Months (January / June 1992) then the Second up and until June 2004 with a History file that would make you weep at the "Expenditure". I bought it to "Keep" (for ever), but when you are "The Doc" sometimes, just sometimes, "For ever" happens ......... and life gets in the way .............. My contact number is 07923 580 922 or leave a message ? The Car is in storage near Chester (M56 Junction 14) its on "SORN" with some M.O.Test. New Test on sale ... Price ? no idea .... It was "Going for scrap" (believe it or not) September 2004 the timing belt had gone ........... (hence the new Head ......... ) I didn't, as a consequence pay a "Lot", though, I have since ........ I just want the Car to go to a simular "Diesel Head" and be looked after into its Third Decade. Make me a realistic offer, you know where I'm coming from ... I have a sense of Humor too .... You will hear me laugh ! (or cry !) Really, Really, .... Sorry, no images .......... but without sounding "Paronising" I'm shure I've painted a fair "Picture" .... To recap, Silver, Grey fabric, Wind deflectors, colour coded, wood trim dash, .... Nice Car, would likely buy it myself ...

Hi there, is this still for sale?
I'm keen but I don't want to mess you around as I don't have cash yet. I'm currently trying to sell my Classic Mini (oh such a sad day) as I need a bigger car and really have set my sights on a 740/940 Diesel. What sort of money are you after so I know if I'm going to be way off on budget. Sounds like a beauty, is it Auto or Manual please? Kind regards, Mat |

Just a "Timely" reminder (and to get back onto the first page !) This Estate Car is still available and won't be "Part x'd" as "Scrappage" ... Its a genuine Car with good History (ring binder file ..)
