Default V90 Front drivers seat repair

Hi

I have an issue with my drivers seat, its a momentum so has manual lift for the front of the seat the issue is that the drivers door side of the seat pumps fine but them drops. This side can be lifted and feels loose. The seat mechanics all work 100%. Anyone any ideas.
I have uploaded a picture I also have a video but can't post here. It's almost like the right side arm is loose but I have tried tightening the various torx bolts and they are all tight.

Edit. I have added snapshots from the video front under the seat

Best way to show video's is to upload them on to YouTube and then put a link to it on your post on here.

Right the right hand side has now collapsed as well. Seat is still solid when at base level but once raised it collapses. Yes I am a big lad so I would expect a bit more wear than a lighter person but this is not great. Car is 2017 with 70K miles. I have owned other cars and never had an issue. Anyone any ideas?

take it into a volvo dealer they might be able you help you , they are probably aware of that problem after 5 years , so may have a service bulletin on it.

Took the seat out and found the issue is actually with the right hand seat frame. Where the bar across meets the frame its snapped clean away. Booked I'm Monday with dealer I think Volvo should be covering this personally?

Been to dealers this morning they confirm a new frame required cost £404.40 dealer stated no contribution from Volvo due to age and mileage of vehicle. I would expect the seat frame to survive 5 years and 70k. Anyway I'm on to customer services now see how far I get. Parts on order so 5 to 7 days.

It's not the money it's cheaper than I thought it's really the principle of it.

I'd really expect a seat frame to last the life of the car.
However, they give a three year warranty, so anything failing on the car beyond that, and you're not entitled to anything.

Like a destroyed engine at 63,000 miles. (https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=322152)
7 year old D5, 63,000 miles - cracked block requiring whole new engine. He manged to get 45% goodwill, "after many phone calls and being told that our car was old"

So a bit of perseverance can yield some results.
