Wonder if any options could effect the delivery date, mine is r design pro with pilot assist added as an option.

XC60 B4 Inscription - ordered mid September, told 'ETA end of March 2022'.

I havent been given any information about potential differences in spec, but TBH I haven't asked as it appears the dealers don't know much more than us and there's a lot of 'maybes'.

I've been given an order number and told I can track it, but the system doesn't seem to work for me. Just forgetting about it for now, it'll come when it comes!

XC90 T8 Inscription Expression - Onyx Black with Climate Pack
Ordered Oct 4th, original estimate was Feb 25th
Build slot confirmed on Oct 22nd and now due delivery at dealer Dec 10th-19th with confirmation it’s the new 18KWh power train.

Dealer is still pretty confident of their deliver-to-dealer dates.

Wow that’s good going wonder how you managed to get it so quick considering we’re all waiting til March 22 earliest

I think a lot was to do with the change of battery pack, but can't be certain. Another guy on here seemed to have more info from his dealer which suggested nothing happened between July to October because of the battery upgrade. I dont think Volvo even confirmed the orders with the dealers.

I'm probably about to switch to a V90 instead as waiting until March will cause me a lot of problems. A shame, because I was behind a V60

Brand new? Will you get a V90 before March?

No idea- when we were prospecting, they original quoted Feb/March, as did other dealers… I put it down to the Missus- I sent her to place the order as a) she’s a seriously hard bargain driver and b) she laid down a good sob story

Post-though: I wonder if it helped buying Expression as there’s a few less (not many) bells and whistles

There aren't many, but there are some in stock Volvos floating around at dealers.

V60 Recharge T6 R-Design
Ordered/Deposit paid: 3rd June ‘21
Final build spec confirmed with dealer: 23rd August ‘21
At that time I was informed build would be 19th October with delivery on 5th November.
Spoke to dealer on 28th October and the car was in build.
Dealer called last week to say car will be delivered on 19th November… (maybe even a couple of days earlier!)

Thus by the end of this week I’ll have my first Volvo since I learnt to drive in my Dad’s 340 GL 30-something years ago!
