This is obviously not the case as it has a levelling system just as a xenon equipped car had.

Judging from the menu of the car I have the bending version of LED lights ("Cornering lights" icon) but nothing in the Exterior lights menu...
Will see in a couple weeks.

By the way it would be really easy to do this automatically, would not even need a camera for the oncoming traffic - just use the bloody built-in GPS you stupid car 😁

Or it may not be the height that's the problem, but rather the direction.

Wow… talk about thread resurrection. 5 years between post! Good work.

Indeed - but a helpful thread, nonetheless.
I've just spent half an hour trying to work out how to set the headlamps in my 2019 V90 CC for a trip to France, and have reached the conclusion that I can't, and there's nowhere to put stickers on the covers, so that's that, really.
The manual is indeed very confusing and can only tell me to look for a menu option that isn't there.
I don't usually use the active headlamp dip as the clever stuff isn't, and I get flashed with boring regularity unless I work the stalk myself. As I still have use of my hands, and they've placed the switch conveniently close to the steering wheel, that's what I do. I presume this still dips properly for driving on both sides of the road.
My 1937 Riley has a flat low beam or a high beam, funny how things come round again. It's probably not going to dazzle anybody, though.

Dealer told me the lights adjust automatically when abroad.
