Woah, hold on there. You're committing the cardinal sin here.

Cars don't just 'pass' on MOT - they 'sail' or 'fly' through an MOT, and the MOT Tester reports it being 'exceptional', and 'immaculate' and 'timewarp', and offers to buy it.

I suggest you sort it out - now

El Padrino, there's a story behind that

The day before we were due to go on holiday, touring the Whitby area, we went out to do some last minute shopping... and when we got back to the car, one side at the back was on the bump stops Its happened once before a few months ago, which is why I bought the Nivomats, but it never happened again so I didn't fit them.

With it sitting on its arse again, I decided to replace them as we'd be fully loaded with 4 peeps, luggage and a large camping fridge/freezer, so quite a load on the suspension. The Nivomats weren't leaking or anything, and had been performing perfectly up until then so I reckon it would have passed the MoT with the originals on.

My only concern re the MoT was about the front number plate, which is square (my choice as it looks more 'Japanese'), rather than a UK regulation rectangle, but the tester said it was fine and was compliant. Its a bit of a grey area tbh, but I've previously been pulled over by the Police and they have never mentioned the plate either, so all is well. (The Police were interested in the car as 'they used to drive an 850 T5 back in the day' )

Bonefishblues - it goes without saying he extolled a multitude of compliments about the car

Many congratulations, always a happy feeling especially when the pass is accompanied by a clean sheet

Put mine in for MOT at D&A Autos, Witney. Just an ABS sensor required with no advisories.
