Default XC40 Running Board Offer

I see Volvo are offering a special deal on running boards for the XC40. Having just returned an XC40 T3 equipped with these ad ons in my opinion they are best avoided. They turn clean trouser legs into filthy ones, test your dexterity when entering and leaving the car, prevent the fitting of front mudflaps and contribute little to the owning and driving experience ! Have to say they do look good though !!

Interestingly I put them on my Honda CR-V (which I sold last week) and they looked really smart but always meant an extra leg stretch to get in and out. The one thing they did help with was cleaning the roof!
