Written Off Car - repair, salvage or banger racing?
My poor old 240SE has been written off by the insurance company after being rear ended three weeks ago. Damage to rear bumper, tailgate and nearside rear corner. Labour was quoted at £500 plus another £200 materials plus cost of parts. I have extracted a reasonable settlement from them and have still got the car. She is in dry storage at present and can stay there for awhile, but I cannot break her there and do not have anywhere at home.
I have two other 240s to keep on the road and need some of the bits off of this one, but can't store major stuff like bodywork and engine.
So if any one out there has space for breaking, or wants to go for the repair option then PM me. Me and the car are in Exeter.
Car still drives fine, MOT just expired, Tax end of Jan.
