340 Limited Edition

Hello all,

On my travels today I came across an H reg. (1990/91) 340 5 door with the words "Limited Edition" across the driver's side of the lower edge tailgate; no other badging other than Volvo badges.

The car has the earlier type black bumpers, and is gunmetal in colour, with matching interior, and 5 speed manual 'box (extremely tidy condition inside and out).

As there was no sign of an owner, I couldn't find out any more than that. Does anyone know anything of this "limited edition"?

Please let me know if it rings any bells - curiosity is running rampant . . .

there are loads of limited editions of 300s, from blue line to redline to artic and so on. cant really say which it is, it probably just had leccy windows or something thrown in for free (after all they were really trying to shift them in '90)..

Just thought I'd mention it as I've only ever seen the Redline limited edition before this one, and I was curious.

Off topic, but what happened with the 360 you were breaking?

And who was John with the 343 in Northern Ireland - and does he still have it?
