Angry Fuel gone up 5p in 5 days

My local Shell garage has put up its diesel by 5p in the last 5 days!.

I still swear they put up the prices despite what they paid for the delivery at the time of ordering/delivery, rather than implementing the new price when the new delivery arrives.

Steve.

Just 5 pence!?

And that in 5 days?

Come over here.

Monday: 1,59(9) liter of super unleaded
Saturday: 1,75(9) liter of super unleaded

That is 16 cents (which is about 14p!!!). And on top of that, the prices go up and down by about 10 cents a day... So I don't think 5p is much at all...

Maybe a silly question but are we still sending fuel over to the states? I know we were a few years ago! Jay (no pump! but I like bats)

Was it you Daim that posted about fuel being dearer on one side of the road as you go to work and the fuel being dearer on the other side of the road coming back from work?..!!

I used (or rather did not use) a motorway service station a few weeks a go and the diesel was knocking £1.70 a litre.Just used the loos!Thats when diesel was around £1.43 a litre everywhere else. It was an EG service station.

Regards
