Default Instrument cluster flicker problem (video)

When turning the key from mode II into 0, instrument cluster starts to flicker. In mode I and II it works fine. Also when I remove the key, it works fine.

Its only appearing when key has been in mode II and then turned back to 0.

Any ideas? My volvo-dealer had no idea at all, no faults codes either.

Sorry for bad english, its my second language.

Thank you!

I would start by looking for good connections to the CEM, the main body control unit in the passenger footwell (under the glovebox) or perhaps the ignition barrel is worn (the part you put your key into).

Radio on/off makes no differense.

Is it possible to check the ignition barrels function in some way other than to replace it?

Thanks for your replys!
