240 GLT Saloon Rear Light Lenses
Hi,
I am looking for a pair of lenses in good clean, uncracked condition for my 1990 240 GLT, so black trim. If anyone is breaking a saloon/GLT there are a few other parts that I am interested in sourcing. Thanks |

thanks Gary. As an ebay addict I had seen them but wasn't impressed with the photos, eg they looked a bit faded/flat!?

If they're faded they're easy to refurb.
Go to your local model shop and pick up one bottle each of TAMIYA clear orange, clear red and acrylic varnish and a paint brush. Clean the outer faces of the lenses with methylated spirits, allow to dry, then apply two coats of the appropriate colour follwoed by one of the varnish and the units will look much better. I know, because I used the clear orange on the Exxon Valdez's indicator repeaters.
