1994 850 SE estate 2.5 10v Spares / Repairs or poss break?

Hi Guys,

I am gutted to have to post that my beloved 850 estate has lost compression in cyl 5, 2 others aren't great, so it's terminal engine failure time, as has caused a horrid misfire

As it makes no financial sense to me personally, nor can I afford to have the lump rebuilt or replaced, I have no real choice than to start about disposing of her

So I am offering her up for spares / repairs, as she is in really great shape for an L reg inside and out, having done 151k, she is finished in classic green, and is an early ph2 850, with a really great grey velour interior, manual steel sunroof, 7 seat conversion with skinny spare, and the dog guards / cargo nets built into the rear seats. Manual gearbox is like new, and no warning lights are on, or codes stored. Still purrs with a bit of oil down the bores to bring the compression back up.

In the last 500 miles she has had a genuine NGK lambda, new MAP, dizzy cap and rotor, air filter and fuel filter, gen volvo plugs and 3 new tyres 3 k ago.

I can't break her down slowly as I have rented HA property with no drive, only shared communal parking, so wanted to guage interest in someone re-homing her that could perhaps do an engine rebuild / swap to give her a new lease of life, failing that I will have her taken away, but could take off the following:

Lambda
MAP
7 seat conv with skinny spare
all 4 rear lights, very good condition with no fading at all
wheel trims
small interior bits and bobs
load cover / parcel shelf
glovebox lid
roofrails

Please PM with your interest, and I will be happy to give you a ring on a landline, or chat on here, would like to dispose of her one way or the other fairly quickly so I can catch next month for a tax disc refund and cancel insurance as neccessary.

They are plain unpainted grey, but you could then use a spraymatch aerosol? £20 posted sound ok?

Sorry for the delay the last few days in replying, been running round ragged as have the option of another volvo, but a fair distance from me, so travel arrangements etc!!

Update, the 850 is off to the scrapper tomorow

I have posted up the bits I have available in the sales section, apologies to anyone I couldn't help or have been delayed contacting, but unfortunately the priority for me at the moment has been the welfare of my 84 year old dad who is seriously ill, so I haven't had the time to take off loads of bits.
