I was just thinking seeing these, IMHO it's the wheels that make any car, it's just a shame decent rims are so hard to get hold of in 5x108! Anyway, i shall play, heres a small selection: One of the best looking more doors Two of my favourite things in one, an old VW Ghia and a tatty lowered Volvo Lastly a friend of mine moved from the UK to Sweden a few years ago and took these at a motorsport show: |

I thought it was those ones, i hadn't realised you got rid of them. Didn't they need a smaller dish rim to fit?
There was a set on Ebay a month or so ago and just the dishes sold for £180. |

They needed a smaller dish to fit the way I wanted them to, I wanted to narrow the 10" rears down to 8" and fit them on the front, with the 9" fronts on the rear. The new owner has stretched tyres on them to fit them under the arches, which isn't my thing, but they still look damn good! They are rather poke-ey though as they are.

I spent the best part of 2 years watching ebay like a hawk for new dishes for those wheels, all I ever got was one 1.5" dish for £60 which I now can't sell. still, I can't complain, they only cost me £200 when I bought them.

I agree, i'm not a fan of poke either really, but you can't beat a bit of dish!
From what i remember you went on holiday recently (you posted on here, i'm not a stalker haha!) and it was in that week that they were on Ebay. Turns out i had saved the link although i'm not sure if they were the sizes you were after? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-X-MOTOR-...-/251128813016 |
