Default window switch help!

Hi,
Can anyone help.
I have a 2016 model v70 and need to replace the window buttons on the driver side. I can't seem to see how the cover comes off.
I have tried to force it out but if I give it anymore I think something would break.

thanks for any help given

From my memory; IF you want to remove the whole door trim, which you may well need to do to replace the switch ? Take a look at the centre of each fixing head around the periphery of the trim. There should be the head of a "pin" visible. Gently push the "pin" in slightly, not all the way through, and it should release/loosen the fixing. Don't force the panel off. It won't "pop off" and you will just destroy the fixing/s. Multiple fixing replacements at the main dealer add up.

You may need to release some screws elsewhere, interior door pull handle etc, but I can't specifically help you with that at the moment.

You can then re-use the fixings when "re-set" which should be obvious once you have one off and you can see how it works.

There should be some videos on YouTube.
