ETM Price Reduction to £145 + vat

Well ..... I just caalled Cambridge Volvo in Havant; the price of the ETM has been reduced to cost - £145 + vat. The cost of the software and gasket has been reduced to sub £1 too.

The only issue now is that they are on back order. The reason I was quted for the price drop was the BBC publicity :-)

i got my etm today for £164 inc vat from volvo nottingham. the software is £1 but the charge to download it is £40. im going to fit the etm myself, then give it to volvo to sort out software. ( i'm not a tight wad but have been layd off' so now jobless ).

... thats what I'm going to do too; I was quoted 0.3 hours to install the software; guess that's the £40. Wish I got paid £40 for 0.3 hours work .....

I am going to do that too!!!. I am from Poland and that part cost approx 2330zl which is 432 punds. My brother in law just bought me one in UK for 187 pounds. I am going to install it next to Volvo dealer and ask him to load the software to it. I hope he will go outside with appropriate equipment because my car probably will not be able to drive into dealer's servie house after installtion of new ETM.

just been quoted £249.50 inc vat, fitting & software by cecil & larter of Bury st Edmunds so it looks as if this new price is available. however the chap at C&L i spoke to says they have been charging that price since 2007 !!!

nordicpartsdirect.co.uk quoted me £162+vat for the part so the volvo price seems pretty reasonable.

could you recommend any places from where to buy ETM?
nordicpartsdirect quoted me £250+VAT+shipping, that`s higher than i expected as above was quoted £162+VAT from nordicpartsdirect.

as a sidenote i need shipping to EU.
