Had the DAB on the V60 for a few years. It cuts out fairly regularly, there is a spot on the way to work which has nothing to interfere but it always does. Never had it chop to another station though.

It would make sense if DAB dropped out to switch to the FM equivalent, but changing station is bonkers!
Am unaware of left press, but the multifunction centre button of the right hand pad cluster on the steering wheel, the one you answer the phone with, cancels local traffic announcements as well as mutes and unmutes the media playing.

The multifunction button on the righthand side of the steering wheel can as Quacker says, be used to mute/unmute the radio. Using the left or right buttons moves to the previous / next radio station in the list, the up/down buttons increase/decrease the volume respectively.

It was earlier claimed that a press left would take you back to the previous station.

I can confirm that after a journey of 50 miles each way, during which it switched twice on the way there and twice on the way back, that there is no button to take you back directly to R2. You have to flick back through the favourites until it comes back.

Stupid issue and really quite annoying that it just completely switches station.

Definitely works for me. My DAB must change one station down on the list. My usual station is at the top of my list.

Can't say that mine has ever changed station except when my arm brushes against the right hand cursor button very occasionally when turning sharply. In which case it does move down one station on the favourites list and a left press will therefore take it back to the original station.
Just as occasionally this same accidental press of the right button will unmute the radio one station down the list.

Its not an issue for me, because I know the cause and it seldom happens.

Could this be your issue?

Can’t be. When i first had the car I did notice myself pressing the button when turning the wheel. But the station in question is 7 or 8 down the list in either direction.

As someone else stated on here, mine had the same issue as them switching from Radio 2 to Capital.

I asked the dealer about this and they have subsequently updated the software... it hasn't happened again.

Interesting. I’ve only had mine 2 months and it went back in after 3 weeks to have all software redone as there were a host of issues. I can’t imagine there are selective patches to deal with specific issues, surely they would just apply everything!

The dealer I bought from have been pretty rubbish all round, so will go to my local one and see what they can do.

That was me having the issue of switching randomly from R2 to Capital.

On the dash it still says I'm listening to Radio 2. I have to either fumble with the left/right switch on the wheel or press the R2 button to get R2 back.

The car had the first year service in Feb and I would've thought the software would've been updated then, unless there's a newer one out since.

I take it a software update can only be done at the dealership?

My dealer (Ray Chapman Motors) have been very good.

My car last went in on the 29th Jan if that help for the software update. Previous to that it had software updates in October which didn't change the DAB when I had some new tyres fitted.

I do love the irony (Radio 2 to Capital... I thought it would be the other way round!!!)
