There's been one or two reports of the inner foam coming loose. Glad I went for the 19" wheels and avoided the whole issue.

I am waiting with trepidation to swap mine on though weather keeps staying in winter performance window - quite remarkable this year. I have been really enjoying the ride on winters now I don’t overinflate them. If Silents ruin it again I will be off to Michelin regardless of remaining life.

Glad it is sorted.

I will however add +1 for oval tyres. Mine has a mild vibration at 80mph - felt through the car. Worse when tyres are cold. It started as soon as new tyres fitted. Dealer made it quite a bit better by swapping left to right but still there. Kwik Fit were useless. It was dealer who confirmed my diagnosis of an oval tyre. Cant really be fagged to complain to kwik fit again. It will be worn out in 5k miles or so.

Also for those on a lease with no choice of tyre fitter then Kwik Fit mobile are far more accomodating than the depots. They are usually very motivated to find 2mm somewhere on the tyre if you ask nicely.......
