[QUOTE=Prufrock;920684]It would be a great shame to change the trim from red...you don't say what year your car is (or am I being dim-rhetorical question) ?
my car in a 1986 740 estate in silver, i agree it would be a shame as the general interior is good just a few damaged areas il post pics soon |

Some time ago there was a thread that was discussing oldest 745s, mine and OldBlueVolvos are both 1986s on C plates-mine slightly older than his.
Is your an 1986 on a C or D? If a C plate then could I have your VIN to date it in relation to the two mentioned? 1986 was the launch year for the 745. Prufrock. P.S I suspect your is a D (might be wrong!). |

if author of a thread managed to source his trim requirements, i think he wouldn't mind me saying that:
- if anyone is keen on selling: A pillars trim, trim just next to headliner, door handles bezels and red rubber mats... Well I desire em so badly I would give a kidney for em. And yes, black trim is atleast 50%more durable (broken for parts 4 volvos) and never broken any of it, where red is weak like egg shellm If anyone can help, will kiss and hug!
