Default Stupid Question...Switch on 360

Sorry to ask a silly question, but I have just aquired a 360GLE and am curious what the switch in the middle just underneath the handbreak does?
I assumed it was a foglight but there is another on the dash (am i correct?) and am to lazy to work it out myself!

Could someone let me know?

The switch underneath the handbrake on the centre console should be for your front fog lamps, (if fitted), if you have a hatchback model there should also be a switch fitted alongside it for the rear wash/wipe.
The switch next to the steering wheel with the fog lamp symbol on it should be for your rear fog lamps.

Vincent,

In my 360 GLE there are four switches by the handbrake in the centre console.

Two are for the heated front seats.

Two are for the electric front windows.

The car is fitted with front fogs (and rear fogs) but the switches for these are both on the dash.

Many cars - many layouts.

Bite the bullet - don't be lazy!!

Erm... why on earth can't you just switch the ignition on and switch the lights on and then flick this switch and see what happens.
Most switches also have a symbol on denoting what they are for.

I think it would be far easier for you to just find out by trial and error if you can't bring yourself to go to a garage or dealer who can help you.

How do you get to and from your car if you are too lazy to work out what a switch does? :-)

Dan.

I wouldn't bother replying to that one! He gave his car to me and now I've got it. Was in a hell of a state and obviously run for several years by some muppet that didn't know a thing about cars. That switch incidentally was for the front fog lights, which didn't work anyway!!
