Roof bars d3 es

Does anyone know if the roof rails on a 2010 D3 ES XC60 which are Black plastic will take the Volvo genuine roof ladder rails as they appear to be needed to clamp onto the ES black plastic roof bars. These plastic ones are only fitted in black plastic to the ES I think and I Note most models (SE upward) have silver aluminium roof rails which look stronger for attaching the bars to and proposed load.

Will the ES black plastic roof rails be strong enough to carry the ladder rails with their 100 lbs loading?

Anyone had experience with this situation before I buy roof bars for ladder carrying.

My 2012 xc60 SE. Has the black plastic roof bars, I did not purchase the Volvo roof bars as I thought they where over priced but bought a pair that allowed me 60kilo weight. I’m sure the fixing is exactly the same (hook over and compressed) by hex bolt,
I have carried many things without problem.

Austin A35, indicators and heater optional. Not forgetting RTFM
