Rear seat belts for 145...

Hi I've just bought a lovely 1973 145 but there are no rear seatbelts (optional feature apparently but mounting lugs were fitted inn case someone wanted to retro fit )

Since there are not many 145's around, but plenty of 245's which all came with rear seat belts (and it looks like they would fit a 145 )- anyone know if I can use 245 seat belts instead?

*second question* Anyone got a set of rear seat belts they want tos sell???

The 240 will fit. I think there is a slight diffenence on the rear bar but I'm sure it will fit.

I have a set for sale out of my 1973 145.
Took them out because they anoy me, are in good condition.
Will take 25 euro plus P&P.

Thanks for the offer Twaintie - but I have had an offer locally and I wanted to see how they fitted anyway.

Successfully fitted two rear retractable seatbelts from 77 265 ( thanks Brian ) into 1973 145.

I only had a small sentance from a brochure to go on when it said ' all 1973 Volvos have rear seatbelt mounting points already fitted ' - they did thank goodness. All I did was pop the blanking gommets out that had been there bothering nobody for 32 years - and screw the seatbelt assembly in - fitted like a glove.
