Default EE data sim

Hi,
Following recommendations on here, when I brought my car in oct 2020, I purchased a EE data sim for the volvo. Think it was a 32gb one. Any idea how I check the balance left on the sim? I have it’s mobile number on the credit card. Is they’re a link to check without registration?

I would temporarily put the sim into your phone and setup an account on the MyEE app. Then you should be able to check most things on the app without the sim being in the phone afterwards.

I used to use a Three PAYG sim but had similar troubles checking data and since the price went up a couple of months ago it wasn't the cheapest any more. I've since switched to 1p mobile (which piggybacks on EE) and can check my balance online.

You can go into your system settings and it tells you there how much data you have used.

Settings in the top view.
Press Communication/Car Modem Internet and select settings/Data usage

If you put the sim into a phone and text BALANCE to 150 it will give you all the information you need

As Franko has said just go into settings in Sensus and check data usage, saves the faff of taking the sim out. When I change Sim I just reset the usage data.

Default EE Data left

If it helps you can download the app or login to the web version of EE and go to accounts to see what data you have left.
