Default D5 Fuel Correction Figures

Recently I done a leak back test and an injector test on VIDA in an attempt to diagnose a faulty injector. The next stage was to run some Liqui Moly diesel purge through the system on a closed loop. Below are the results of the VIDA injector test before running the diesel purge through the system.

Compression test
1 - 195rpm
2 - 196rpm
3 - 194rpm
4 - 182rpm
5 - 195rpm

Combustion test
1 - 706rpm
2 - 700rpm
3 - 702rpm
4 - 688rpm
5 - 700rpm

Fuel correction test
1 - 7.00mm3
2 - 6.58mm3
3 - 6.03mm3
4 - 0.00mm3
5 - 34.82mm3

Results after diesel purge

Compression test
1 - 186rpm
2 - 186rpm
3 - 184rpm
4 - 184rpm
5 - 184rpm

Combustion test
1 - 700rpm
2 - 698rpm
3 - 704rpm
4 - 692rpm
5 - 702rpm

Fuel correction test
1 - 6.98mm3
2 - 6.22mm3
3 - 5.99mm3
4 - 0.00mm3
5 - 34.42mm3

The compression seems to have levelled itself out, and the combustion figures aren't as far apart between the lowest and the highest. Previously the difference was 18rpm between cylinder 4 and cylinder 1, and now the biggest difference is 12rpm between cylinders 3 and 4. The fuel correction numbers have dropped for each cylinder except number 4, which is the only perfect cylinder according to VIDA.

I ran just over 1 litre of diesel purge through the system, making sure to go up and down the rev range now and again. The engine certainly seems to be quieter at idle, and also appears to be smoother when accelerating. It will be interesting to see if the mpg figures improve, though I'm not holding out much hope looking at the figures.
