Well I cant talk about the XC90 but I own a XC60 with no issues for the last 2 years. Maybe it's a refined version since 3 years passed since the debut of the SPA platform.
But I just dont agree with this list: Honda, Lexus and Toyota. It's not the 00's anymore. Toyota and Lexus are no longer considered "most reliable and above any other brand". Their downfall started with their issues with Prius where major failures were detected and also caused some deaths to owners which is a bit more serious than "oh my electric window is not working". Not saying its a trashed brand but they are clearly not on the top as the "most reliable brand" anymore.
