CV Boot and wheel bearings
My 98 V70 xc, i found is in need of the o/s inner shaft boot replacing, question is how do you get these on. I assume the shaft has to come to bits.
Also how on an awd auto can you spin and listen/check wheel bearings. Certainly when ive tried jacking any front wheel up, car in neutral, wheel is locked and wont turn, does it have to be floating on axle stands?

you have to take the outer cv joint and gator off first then you can slide the inner gator off the shaft. to spin the wheel you have to lift 2 or more wheels off the ground.
