We towed a 240 estate (1400kg?) on a trailer (800kg?) behind a 740 Turbo (1400kg?), and we got home in one piece...

If it's got test, I'd drive it. Much easier and safer than towing.

cheers

James

driving it would be ok but NOT on them rubbers, its too close to the max load for the tyres to even consider letting someone drive it any good distance. and driving it at all, with the amount of stuff in it,...if you had to brake hard.. could be a bit dodgy to say the least

Ok...I'll refine my statement to..."if it has test and is safe to be on the road" What's in it which is so lethal? It sounds like you're going to need a large tow vehicle (Range Rover?) and huge trailer to tow it safely.

I'll ask a couple of people if they're interested...

cheers

James

lol good refinement, well theres the devider for a start, loose middle seats, a spare hydra, double din stereo, various bits of tan trim, the glass devider panels, 960 side skirts and loads of nuts bolts and random things like seatbelt buckes and a big bag of spare switches.. alot of shrapnel there lol
