I have a Volvo S40, its been 8 Yrs and now I need the radio code, when the power disconnected. The VIN number is YV1VS70823F976468. Please can you send me the code. Thanks

Only when this code does not work I would ever ask for serial numbers off the unit. (In those cases we would need serial number and model of the unit)

I sent an email to Rufe a couple of minutes ago also, but just in case... Same problem obviously as most of you, but I just noticed that Rufe mentioned in a post that they can only find codes for cars registered in the UK. I happen to live in Estonia. In case Rufe is not going to be able to help me, can any of you?

I was also wondering how to reset the display (from "off") so I could reenter the code. The information I have received concerning the matter shows that in some cases it is okay for the engine to be running for 2 hours and in some cars it only works when I turn the key just as far as needed for the radio to be turned on (for also about 2 hours). I drive a 2002 volvo v40.

Any assistance is very helpful. My previous car's radio was stolen and now this.... Lucky me..

dave you will need to provide Rufe with the numbers on the underside of the radio unit that are etched on the metal
