Default Electric sunroof switch wanted.

I have a 1996 Volvo 940 and am in need of an electric sunroof switch.

Many thanks. James.

Take yours apart and you will probably find it's just the very ends of the rocker switch have a build up of black stuff needs scraping off, I did this to one and it worked absolutely fine afterwards.

I did and the 2nd attempt lost one of the rocker parts somewhere in the car unfortunately and can't find it!

Annoying! Oh well.

Thanks for the tip on cleaning though.

I assume it's the dash switch you want? I may have one for a late 700 Series. It would be for heavier gauge wiring as I guess by 1996 the gauge had been slimmed down.

Hi Bob.

Yes, the dash switch. Any chance of a photo to compare?

Many thanks. James.

Well ahead of time ..... sod's law, in the last of many boxes!!

One sunroof fully circuit tested rocking rocker switch ex a '91 745. The illumination comes from the separate light diffuser for all the switches on that panel.

DM me.

Unfortunately Bob's wasn't compatible, but many thanks Bob for going to the effort of finding it and doing the photos.

Still looking for one.

Many thanks. James.
