Default Do I have to take the flippin' EGR off ?

Hello Volvo owners.

Recently I have had a engine check light come on and after inspection with VDASH I have a few codes. Its a 2016 S60 D4 203

Good ole P04D900 EGR closed loop flow too low
MAS sensor fault, I forget the code.

I cleaned the MAS sensor and got rid of that one but I have also cleaned the intake manifold sensor and checked the valve on the EGR is free moving and it moves lovely without resistance. I have also sprayed EGR cleaner into the intake as per manufactures instructions.

Is there anything else I can try before resigning myself to taking off the EGR for a clean? The car is idling and performing perfectly as though nothing were wrong. Is this something that could lead to something else catastrophic if I leave it for period of time ?

Thanks

That code indicates the EGR COOLER is blocked.... have you had all the recalls latest software and modified cooler relating to this ? If not get your dealer to check. as soon as possible or you could be needing a new Particle filter , well over £1000 to fix.

NEVER clean an Airmass meter you can so easily damage a perfectly good £500 air mass meter. Ive seen it happen many times... How can it get "dirty" being fed with filtered air anyway? It also has built in self cleaning heating.

Ok well thanks for the advice. I got it booked in at Paul Rigby Birmingham and I warned them I knew about the problem and would look for some good will from Volvo. They said they would have to diagnose first then send it to HQ for a resolution. Looking at £800 if they wont cough up.

I actually meant MAF sensor not MAS, £25 part and its cleared the code.
