Hope so mate. Picked mine up today. Despite the hassle, worth the wait. Turns out my car got to the dealers on the 22nd Feb. 4 emails to Volvo between then and me being told it was here by the dealer. They had no idea it had left the port. Very odd way to run a business. Best of luck, it’ll be worth the wait.

Mine has arrived at the dealers. Picking it up next week. My dealer has offered £300 worth of extras to make up for the delay

It's now Wednesday 8th March and no sign of a delivery. My biggest issue is that Volvo can't seem to tell me who the transporting company is. If I had the transporting company, they could look for the VIN on their schedule and tell if if it's 1st in line or 999th in line to be transported! |

I ordered an XC90 which was at the port and dealer advised a 2 week wait. I ordered it on 3rd April so its now 4 weeks and no sign of the vehicle so far. I raised a formal complaint with Volvo and the dealer received a 48 hour transporter notification on Wednesday of the car being loaded and should be with them on Friday. Yet no sign of the car!
Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? |

Patsy in full and nobody can give me a date
I paid the deposit on 19 Feb for a car in stock and supposedly in the UK. The same day I received an invoice with the VIN number. I paid the remainder so now fully paid, on 3 March. Here we are in the 12th with nobody being able to tell me what date it will arrive. They have transport delays within the UK. Someone at the dealership says they have only seen one car delivery in the last two weeks. A delivery date would be good but they clearly have no idea. Like they've never done this before.

There's nothing new under the sun, is there?
50 years ago, my dad ordered a new Renault 5. Various promised deliveries came and went; excuses ranged from a to z; lies told included "it's in our workshop now and being prepped". He called it off and got his deposit back. We took a bundle of cash to a Toyota dealer, bought a brand new Corolla and collected it within 24 hours. It was a better car - and cheaper.
